"Painted Legacy" Painting Apprenticeship Workshop Successfully Completed
Date: 13 June 2026
The 5-day "Painted Legacy" Painting Apprenticeship Workshop was successfully held earlier. This meaningful initiative was generously supported by Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited and Camel Paint, and organised in collaboration with the Hong Kong Construction Industry Painting Employees Union (HKCIEGU).
The workshop aimed to inspire participants to explore their interest in the painting trade, develop valuable vocational skills, and enhance their future employment opportunities.

Under the professional guidance of master painters from the HKCIEGU, New Life staff and service users gained practical painting skills while contributing to the community. Together, they successfully refurbished the canteen interior walls and courtyard walls at Yi Yuet Hin, one of our Association's residential service units.

Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback, Yip’s Chemical has expressed strong interest in launching Phase 2 of the workshop later this year. This upcoming phase will continue to beautify other public areas at Yi Yuet Hin.
Through this hands-on vocational training, we believe participants can discover new interests, build self-confidence, and unlock more employment opportunities for the future.
A heartfelt thank you to all our partners and every participant for making this project a resounding success!
